Testimonials

"It is not often that you get the opportunity to design and build your own office and the positive response from my staff has been tremendous.  The bright interior, quality of the air and the consistent temperature throughout the year are really appreciated.  However the fact which has made my staff particularly proud is that we have one of the most sustainble offices in the UK which is attracting such attention from our industry peers and press".

Gordon Kew, Interserve Construction Ltd

"Having a location with an excellent surrounding road network together with a ‘landmark’ building has transformed our business opportunity. Additionally the support provided by our Landlord, Raynsway, has ensured we deal with people that care about our business and always try to help however small the issue."

Howard Rose, Managing Director

"As one of the UK’s leading Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) suppliers, Flogas UK Ltd relocated its Head Office to Watermead Business Park in 2004. Following a period of development and growth, Flogas was in need of a new and bigger Head Office to reflect its status as one of the industry’s market leaders and enable the continuous growth of the business. Raynsway delivered beyond expectations with the development of 20,000 square foot purpose-built offices."

Margaret Shaller, Marketing Manager

"We had a choice of locations and our choice of Watermead Business Park, with its excellent position and good road links, was without doubt the correct one."

"AMEC, the leading supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries told us that they had "spent a lot of time looking for their new offices in and around the Leicester area but it was not until they located the Watermead Business Park with its quality build, ample car parking facilities and its great location that they wondered why we had not moved earlier".

Commercial Developer Adopts Traditional Hedgerow Management

Raynsway has over recent months undertaken the art of hedge laying within its land.

Hedge laying is a traditional method of hedgerow management established over 100’s years and is typically used throughout the UK and Ireland.   Those involved in this type of hedgerow management provide a unique skill as the maintenance required in the creation of any new hedgerows must offer various uses.   Not only does the new formation of the hedgerow need to provide livestock-proof barriers they also need to provide greater weather protection to crops and wildlife as these are used by numerous birds for nesting whilst providing a valuable habitat for many species of insects. At the same time the hedgerows need to provide an attractive surrounding to the landscape it serves to protect.
Raynsway employed local hedge laying expert Michael Doubleday to undertake the necessary works which involves cutting down at the base of the stems and laying them over at an angle of about 35 degrees.

“Raynsway are very keen to maintain the natural look of their sites, where possible and we are particularly fascinated by Hedge Laying and what it can do long term for not only the look of our sites but also the wildlife benefits.    The educational aspects are also very interesting and we were looking possibly to link up with some schools or other educational entities for a possible joint venture involving Michael and some training for hedge laying”.
