Nominations for Prestigious Property Awards Announced

It has been revealed that five construction projects from Leicestershire have been shortlisted to receive a prestigious award at the Chartered Surveyors (RICS) East Midlands Awards on 19th April 2012.    The awards are to recognise exceptional contributions to conservation and enhancement of the built and natural environment.

Raynsway are pleased to announce that Interserve’s new office building at our Watermead Business Park in Syston is a finalist in the Design and Innovation category.   The building using state of the art Passivhaus principles is the first of its kind in the East Midlands and environmentally is at the forefront of construction designs for the future.

The building is also nominated for Project of the Year and the Sustainability Award at the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) dinner due to take place on Friday 30th March 2012.   The CIOB are an internationally recognised body representing unequalled knowledge regarding the management of the whole building process and are making an influential contribution to one of the world’s important industries.
