Snow Clearance A Success

Following on from Raynsway’s recent purchase of snow clearing equipment and grit it would appear that the latest snowfall didn’t get the better of our Team’s efforts in ensuring that our tenants properties were kept safe and free from snow and ice.

On the whole it would seem that the snow clearing efforts were a success with many of our tenants commenting on how efficient and quick our Team was to respond thus reducing any potential difficulties.  “The efforts made by Raynsway certainly did make the Estate much safer for everyone and for that we are grateful” James Street of Graded Appliances comments.   The overall response from our tenants were that they “were very impressed” and grateful for Raynsway’s endeavours.

The Green Apple Awards

Raynsway’s Passivhaus building situated at Watermead Business Park were recently presented with a Green Apple Environment Award.   The Award was presented at the House of Commons on the 12th November 2012 during a carbon-neutral presentation ceremony.

Tom Watkinson and the Passivhaus Conference

November 2012 saw the Passivhaus Conference take place at the Nottingham University.  The two day event offered a comprehensive review of the Passivhaus phenomena currently sweeping across the construction industry.   The conference covered key themes such as planning, procurement, costs and benefits including many other aspects of Passivhaus constructions for residential, non-domestic and refurbishment projects.    ...more
